Our home (built 1995) has three bedrooms, a generous kitchen/dining room, upstairs bathroom with loo, downstairs loo, spacious sitting room, front and back gardens (full of birds, butterflies and hedgehogs). Space for two cars on drive. Quiet cul-de-sac. All neighbours have lived here longer than us (we have been here 12 years). Easy walk into town where there are parks, woods, an opera house, library, Go Ape, museum, football and rugby teams, a spa, bus and trains to Manchester (1 hour) and shops. Near schools, dentists and GP surgeries, and minor injuries unit. Surrounded by the beautiful Peak District where there are walks, biking, climbing to be had. Moving to be nearer family but wish we could take our house and neighbours with us. This has been a very happy place.
