About the flat: - Top floor flat with south facing balcony and views across the rooftops and trees to the city - Large south facing windows/balcony door in the livingroom and bedroom with sun and lots of light - Kitchen and bathroom face north - Renovated to a good standard, a couple of areas are unfinished as I became unwell whilst renovating - Walls and ceilings replastered, walls covered with lining paper and painted antiqued white - Ikea high gloss white kitchen with floor to ceiling cabinets and franke sink - There are spaces and connections for both washing machine and dishwasher (half sized - I have a Fisher and Paykel Dishdrawer but unfortunately it's playing up, I can leave it here if you like) - Soft close drawers instead of shelves in most of the cabinets - Bathroom has claw foot bath and Burlington hand basin, Victoria Plumb taps - Flooring is pale wood finish lino with felt backing - Double glazed windows - Boiler was replaced just before I moved in so the gas central heating and hot water work perfectly About the building: - 1950s building surrounded by communal gardens, solid double brick with concrete floors and large room sizes - Only six flats in the block, I have half the top floor - Not part of an estate - There is a communal driveway - The sheds have just been renovated (ground floor shed with lock) - Right to Buy. I was planning to purchase and build up into the large loft above (hence why I put so much effort into the renovation), but unfortunately I'm not able to stay here. New tenants with pets have moved into the building, I'm allergic (airways close/epipens) and it turns out that even just living in the building with them is a problem because we share a communal entrance.
