The people of Southam are exemplary - you'll often end up in conversation with strangers while out walking and, if you fancy a drink, the pubs are all friendly. There's a Tesco about three quarters of a mile away or a Co-op about 150 yards away in the town centre. We have a weekly, very affordable hairdresser who comes on Thursdays (with her own salon) and even a mobile fish & chip van on Wednesdays. Each morning, you can go to the coffee mornings in the communal lounge for a chat and catch-up. It's important to note that you must be 55 or older to live here.
